Yesterday was a tough day for daughter, Tammi, and her family. They had to say “good-bye” to a family member ~~ their family pet, Sassy. Sassy had been part of their family for almost eleven years. If you've ever had a pet you've loved, you know how much they miss her.

GOD also loves our canine friends, HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

ReplyDeleteSorry for your loss, loosing a pet is like loosing a family member, because it is.

ReplyDeleteOh I've cried buckets of tears losing three previous dogs over the years. The first one was by far the worst.
But now that it's just Bennie & me, well when his time comes it sure will be devastating.
Tell your Daughter we dog lovers sure know what she's going through.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Sassy. Please pass my condolences on to Tammi - and of course all the family. I love dogs so very much and know they become members of the family. Loved the poem.
