Busy, busy, busy

A happy family is but an earlier heaven.

sept2Thank goodness for cameras. If it wasn’t for cameras, I’d never be able to keep current at times.

Check out the keg on the back of this bike. It looks like a keg but it isn’t really. It’s a carrier.

Jordan, Brendan and Justin dropped by our little cabin. They were spending the day with me. I thought that was rather nice. First on the agenda was lunch, of course. Aren’t teenagers always hungry? We have a Kamp Kitchen in our little gated community. The restaurant keeps pretty busy during the summer but only operates on weekends during the winter and only when the roads aren’t covered with lots of snow.

Brendan loved the deer and especially since he could hand feed them.

We’ve had some pretty busy family days. Friday we had lots of snacks and set up card tables. Some played Spades and others played Magic (MTG).

Saturday was pretty much the same. We were going to go bowling together. How long has it been since you’ve been bowling? It’s been a long time since I have. However, the bowling alley was booked so we just went out to eat and then resumed the games at Tammi’s place.

Justin headed back to Norfolk Sunday morning. Sometime in September his ship will be pulling out to sea for a while. If it hangs around port for a while, Terry and I are thinking we may just drop in for a visit. We've been to Norfolk but it's been many years ago. We will see. We have been thinking about taking a few little trips before we actually head south anyway. This could be our first. He should know the schedule in a few days.

That’s it folks!

  2. Just drop in to Norfolk? That will be quite a "little" trip. Hope you get started rolling now or you'll be driving long days like we do. :cO

Nice to see all your family together again, looks like you're supporting the economy single handed with all those eatery pictures.

  3. Busy is good, but its noce to have the camera so you can remember what we did.

  4. I'd be totally lost without the camera. Have no idea what we did yesterday. Fun times playing games with the family. Hope you get to go to Norfolk. That would make a fun "vacation".

  5. Drop in to Norfolk?!!! Have you looked at a map lately?

I guess it could be on the way to Florida if you get to go back to that plan.
